DNow Weekend

Theme this year is "Empowered To Change The World". This year we will be looking at people in the Bible who have been tempted and stood up to the temptation. By looking into the principles they used, teens will be challenged to put into practice those same tools, say no to temptation and change the world.
Phillip Clements is the speaker this year at Disciple Now Weekend. He has just finished his Masters Degree at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He was formally the director of Acts 2 Ministry. He was with us a few years ago as our weekend speaker. He was the speaker that had great PowerPoint and great points with his PowerPoint including the Water Buffalo clip.

Andrew White will be our worship leader this year. He comes to us with a high recommendation from Andrew Novell who has lead worship for us at Dnow for many years. Andrew White is a Liberty Student and leads worship at his home church when he is back in Northern Virginia. Also coming in from Northern Virginia are 3 other guys that are in Andrews Band. Bluefield College will back again this year taking care of our small group structure. They have been great over the years. They will be leading out small groups through Bible study that will help us live a life that overcomes temptation and lives a life that honors God.
