The RVBA Youth Events committee is sponsoring a workshop on March 5th entitled
Pornography's Prey.
This will address:
*Protecting youth, families and the church from a pornographic culture and from falling prey to the predatory nature of pornography.
* The recent findings of the destructive effect on the brain and its progression toward addiction.
* Resisting, fighting and winning the battle through spiritual truths.
Facilitator Troy Peverall is the founder and Senior Counselor at Agape counseling Associates, Inc. located in Wilmington, Jacksonville and Whiteville, NC. He is a Licensed Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, certified Clinical Supervisor. His extensive work includes a broad range of experience with adolescents and adults in clinical settings and in churches.
The workshop will be March 5th from 9-1 at Colonial Avenue Baptist Church. 4165 Colonial Ave, Roanoke, VA 24018
